Shared Servers Shared server Outage

One of our shared servers, is currently offline. An FSCK is being run on this server to bring it back online ASAP, but it is taking longer than expected.

We are also seeing degraded service on two other shared servers, and (but these are currently online). As well as working to restore lh17 above as quickly as possible, we are also building new shared servers for all of lh17, lh18 and lh25 in the background. Once these new servers are built, we will restore all data from backups. When these 3 servers are running in the background with up-to-date data, we will swap out the live servers. We expect this work to take a number of hours to complete.

We would like to apologise for any disruption this may be causing, and we appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this matter ASAP. We will update this status again at 12 midday.

Update 10:20: Server is now back online. As with servers lh18 and lh25, we are seeing degraded service with this server. We are continuing to work on the new server build + restore as above.

Update 12:10: All three servers, lh17, lh18 and lh25, are online and operating correctly albeit with slightly degraded performance. Our engineers are continuing to work in the background creating new servers as above.

Update 17:20

All three servers, lh17, lh18 and lh25 continue to be online and operating correctly. We started re-creating accounts in the new servers and process is expected to take overnight to complete.

We will update this status again in the morning.

Update 09:15: The process of recreating all accounts on all 3 servers is continuing in the background and we estimate that this will take the majority of today to complete. All 3 live servers are operating normally. We will update this status again at 17:00.

Update 12:25: The shared server is currently offline. Our engineers are completing the migration to a new server to resolve this. This is expected to take 90 minutes to complete. We will update this status again at 14:00.

Update 13:30: Server is now back online on new hardware. All data has been restored from our backups.
